WHY I STARTED ULOGY...

Storytelling has always been my calling - as a copywriter, creative director and brainstorm facilitator for 40 years. I have also spent the last decade helping first generation college-bound seniors write their essays.  All 136 of them were admitted into their choice of college. Yes, I’m good with teens.  But I’m really a fan of seniors.  Not seniors in high school, but adults with decades of history. I love to listen to and hear about their lives and have always had a few adopted grandparents in my life, once mine were gone.

Now I’m on a mission to help you get down your story in writing, for posterity. For your loved ones. Whether you want to have it used for your eulogy or just want to work with me for the pure enjoyment of remembering and writing, you’ll be happy you did it. Getting there will be more than half the fun. You’ll enjoy the process as well as the final outcome.

I want to pay tribute to the unique and interesting ways you lived your life in your words, in your terms. You can decide if it’s funny or tearful or educational or all of the above and I’ll just help you remember. It’s a great honor to preserve a person’s life story and create a tangible closure for family and friends.

“I’ve been to too many funerals where eulogies end up  being generic or emphasize something that isn’t what I know that person would have wanted to be remembered for. It kind of broke my heart."
